 1- What are thermoplastic playground markings? 

Playground markings refer to outdoor floor markings specifically designed for playground games and sport courts . Our thermoplastic playground markings come in a wide range of vibrant colors, making them visually appealing and engaging for children of various age groups.

 

2- How long do thermoplastic playground markings last?

Our thermoplastic playground markings have a 5 years guarantee and can last up to 10 times longer than paint. However we have observed that our markings last well beyond the guarantee period. In the very unlikely event that our markings wear out within a 5 year period, we will happily replace them at No additional cost .

 

3- What are the materials’ specifications and standards? 

 Our thermoplastic playground markings are made of non toxic, eco friendly material complies with EN1436 and EN1871 making them safer than most painted solutions . 

 

4- How does the resistance to discoloration of thermoplastic playground markings compare to that of liquid paint? 

Our thermoplastic’s high performing organic pigments with best possible UV-resistance make our playground markings shining and vibrant over their long lifetime.

 

5- How is the skid resistance of thermoplastic playground markings ?

Our thermoplastic playground markings have been especially formulated to conform with DIN51130 ( BS7976) making it highly Anti-slip .

 

6- How are playground markings maintained?

Our playground markings consist of resilient thermoplastic material known for it’s durability. Once applied on tarmac, asphalt or concrete surfaces, the markings show exceptional strength, minimizing the need for frequent maintenance. Additionally the resin used in the markings helps to fill cracks and chips on the playground, providing added protection against future damage.

 

7- On what surfaces can thermoplastic playground markings be applied ? 

For optimal results and a 5-year guarantee, we recommend installing our markings on tarmac and asphalt surfaces. However they can also be successfully applied to concrete and block paving.

 

8-  How long does drying take? 

Thermoplastic markings take a little time to dry up . Once installed, the playground is ready for use within 30 minutes after installation.

 

9- How are playground markings installed?

Thermoplastic playground markings are applied by heating them, causing them to melt and adhere to the surface. As they cool and solidify, they form a strong bond with the playground surface.

 

10- Do you provide services for playground markings repair and reinstallation? 

Certainly we provide repair and reinstallation services for existing playground markings that may old or worn out.

 

11- What is the procedure for installation the markings when the school is open? 

We conduct playground marking installations throughout the year even during term time. Our installation team are flexible to work on weekends or during the week days using safety equipments like cones and barrier tapes.
